IncLudo is an innovative SBCC-driven initiative by ZMQ Development, in collaboration with CRI (SCIRE Association, Paris), to promote diversity and inclusivity in workplaces through gamification. Supported by the European Union’s EIDHR, the program responds to the growing need for leaders, managers, and decision-makers to understand, value, and practice inclusive behaviors in increasingly diverse organizational environments.

The program leverages the power of games to address sensitive issues such as bias, stereotypes, exclusion, and cultural differences in a safe, participatory, and reflective manner. By using interactive digital games, board games, and storytelling-based role-play tools, IncLudo enables participants to experience real workplace scenarios, reflect on their own assumptions, and explore alternative perspectives. Gamification allows difficult conversations around diversity to happen organically, encouraging openness and empathy rather than resistance.
IncLudo followed a three-year iterative model—co-creation, testing, and implementation. Game Labs were conducted with organizations and social researchers to identify real challenges and co-design solutions. Multiple prototypes were developed and tested, leading to the final selection of four games addressing hiring bias, disability inclusion, cultural identity, and workplace conflicts. The tools were deployed through facilitated workshops across organizations, supporting reflection, dialogue, and gradual shifts in workplace culture. The project follows an open-source philosophy, ensuring accessibility, transparency, and shared learning.
